ParaVolley EUROPE Sitting & Standing Volleyball in Europe
The first ever PVE Strategy Dialogue weekend which took place in Sveti Martin Na Muri (CRO) over the weekend (19th-21st October) was a well received event by all the participants.
Around 30 attendees from 14 countries took part in the several workshops on Saturday and had the opportunity to discuss several issues linked to the ParaVolley Europe organisation and contribution to the sport.
The workshop topics were as follows:
- Competition system and next events,
- Youth games,
- Developing and beach volleyball
- Communications
- Club and / or national competitions, rules and regulations
- PVE Europe organisation, Classifiers, Referees and Marketing
These gave the opportunity to the attendees to address current issues and agree on how to implement the decisions that resulted of the discussion on the above topics.
On Sunday, an Extraordinary General Assembly took place where most of the outcome of the previous day’s workshops were approved and further steps decided in order to improve the competition systems and the communications between the various stakeholders.
