President Mihorko visits the “City of inclusion”

The city of Nola and Nola Città dei Gigli hosted the president of ParaVolley Europe, Branko Mihorko. Yesterday, the top executive of the body who manages the promotion and organisation of sitting volleyball at European level, visited the headquarters of the club Nola Città dei Gigli to meet the general manager and board member of ParaVolley Europe, Guido Pasciari.

At the end of a long and fruitful meeting, Branko Mihorko also met the mayor of the city of Nola, engineer Gaetano Minieri, congratulating him on the efforts and projects that have been and will be carried out in favour of sitting volleyball and therefore inclusion.

“I am very satisfied with the visit to Nola – said the president of ParaVolley Europe, Branko Mihorko – I was able to observe how and how much is being done in this city for the growth of sitting volleyball. I congratulated Nola Città dei Gigli who have been working daily in this area for 7 years now and also the mayor who is working to support the growth of a discipline that promotes the concept of social inclusion. In Italy we are witnessing a constant development of this sector thanks also to the work and passion of men like Guido Pasciari who is proving to be an ideal partner for ParaVolley Europe “.

On the occasion of the visit of President Branko Mihorko, the club team Besana Nola Città dei Gigli also made official the participation in the first European Clubs Championship organised by ParaVolley Europe.

Besana Nola will take part in the continental competition with both women’s and men’s teams, appearing for the first time in a European context that will allow the Nola club to compete with the best clubs in Europe.
