Originally founded in 1980, World ParaVolley has recently been placing significant emphasis on developing a clear pathway for coaches and this Level 1 course represents an important milestone in that process.

ParaVolley consists of 4 different forms of Volleyball:

– Sitting Volleyball

– Sitting Beach Volleyball

– Standing Volleyball

– Standing Beach Volleyball

All of which are adapted versions of the sport of Volleyball aimed at players with a physical impairment. However at club level, particularly with Sitting Volleyball, anyone and everyone can play.
With closing in on 50 members, but over 70 nations worldwide active in ParaVolley, this course is designed to further develop those already working at the grass roots level and supports those who are looking to take the sport to new areas/countries.

Jouke de Haan and Matt Rogers will together tutor the course, each offering their own unique perspective of what is required to be an introductory Sitting Volleyball coach.

The course will be ran at the ‘d’Coque’, the National Sports and Culture Centre which is located in the heart of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on the Kirchberg Plateau.

Those interested but who missed out this time can add their name to a waiting list in case a place becomes available or if they wish to be notified when the next course will be run.
