Hungarian ParaSport Day

“Being disabled doesn’t mean being a loser.”

In Hungary after the approval of the Hungarian Parliament in 2017 and for the second time this year , February 22nd is officially Hungarian Parasport Day.

It is a symbolic date as on the 22nd of February 1970 the first disabled Parasport club was established in Hungary.

Last Friday 423 schools and 112 kindergartens had specific PE classes, where the children could try para sports including sitting volleyball.

The Hungarian National team members held some of these classes, where on top of teaching sitting volleyball, the players managed to share the promotional spot of the 2019 European Championship.
