Nerulum Cup – the results!

The Nerulum Cup which took place in Rotonda City (ITA) between 27th and 31st July saw the National Men’s teams of Egypt, Georgia and Italy meet in a series of friendly games.

The result of the Matches played on the Vittorio Emanuela Square of Rotonda City were the following:

  • EGYPT/GEORGIA
    • 3-0 (25/13-25/10-25/11) – Referees: Di Scipio – Barone – Galiuti
  • ITALY/GEORGIA
    • 1-3 (14/25-19/25-25/21-18/25) – Referees: Battisti-Discipio-Galiuti

• 29/07
  • ITALY/EGYPT
    • 0-3 (15/25-5/25-7/25) – Referees: Galiuti-Battisti.Barone

The Women’s Italian National Team took this opportunity to train as well between July 28th and 31st July and had a friendly game against a team made up of players from ASD Rotonda Club with the National Team winning the game by 3 sets to 1.

The event drew a big crowd and the organising club could rely on the help of the Basilicata Region, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Major of the City andPanathlon International to make this event a memorable one!
