Nations League Competition Dates

Following the increase in Covid-19 cases after many countries lifted confinement, the Women’s Nations League organisers in Slovenia have taken the unfortunate but wise decision to cancel the Women’s competition which was planned end August in Sempeter.

As a result, the PVE Board has made the following decisions:

• The Nations League Competition will be split into two groups in both gender:
  • Golden Nations League – Men / Women
  • Silver Nations League – Men / Women

• The Golden Nations League competitions will take place on the following dates and in the following location:
  • Men – 30th October to 1st November – Assen (NED)
    • Teams ranked 1st to 9th at the European Championship A in Budapest
  • Women –  30th October to 1st November – Assen (NED)
    • Teams ranked 1st to 5th at the European Championship A in Budapest + Host NED

• The Silver Nations League competitions will take place on the following dates and in the following location:
  • Men – 28th to 31st October – Poreč (CRO)
    • Teams ranked 10th and above (European Championship B teams)
  • Women – 31st October to 1st November – Poreč (CRO)
    • Teams ranked 6th and above as well as any New Nations teams.

The Silver Nations League – Men will be combined with the European Championship B Men competition.

Relevant information including invitation letter and registration form will be forwarded to all the teams by the end of the week.  All the teams who had previously send their registration form will be asked to confirm they are still participating in the competition.
