Fantomi Sarajevo undisputed Kings of Europe

Dresden, Germany, 23 April 2023 – OKI Fantomi of Sarajevo were crowned European club champions for the 11th time in their history after completing the 2023 Sitting Volleyball Men’s European Champions Cup undefeated here Sunday evening.

They only came close to losing in the very last match of the tournament, but only conceded two sets to hosts Dresdner SC 1898 after they had already secured the gold medal with a two-set lead. But Dresdner had really missed their opportunity to seriously aim for gold when they fell earlier on Sunday to Kyiv Ukraine – the latter ending up with silver.

For Fantomi it was back-to-back titles since the competition returned in its current format after a multi-year hiatus. It is their 11th European title overall.
