ParaVolley EUROPE Sitting & Standing Volleyball in Europe
The Catalan Volleyball Federation, together with Sitting Volley Sevilla, invites European Sitting Volleyball teams, interested in taking part in the first ever International ParaVolley Tournament in Catalunya, to express their interest of participation now. The only cost the teams are expected to cover is the travel to and from Catalunya.
The event will take place from June 24 to June 26 in the Catalan capital – Barcelona, in the frame of the Catalan Sports Week, with the aim of promoting #SittingVolleyball in the region.
Two local teams are already confirmed to participate – a Catalan team and a team from Andalusia (Sevilla).
Important information:
- Date of the event: June 24, 25 and 26, arrival on the 23rd (afternoon-night) and departure (where feasible) on the 26th in the afternoon.
- Teams and teams staff: a number of approximately 13 members per team has been established.
- Formula and competition: the intention is to organise a competition between four teams (a Catalan team, an Andalusian team (Seville) and two foreign teams) playing a round-robin tournament.
Event information:
- Travel to and from Barcelona: covered by each team.
- Internal travel (airport-hotel, hotel-venue,…): is covered by the organisation.
- Accommodation of the teams: covered by the organisation.
- Competition (organisation, refereeing,…): covered by the organisation.
