Alongside with Master of Ceremony Roberto Sciannamea, the draw was chaired by FIPAV Vice President Adriano BILATO, Caorle Mayor Marco SARTO and PVE President Branko Mihorko who all expressed their delight in having the ceremony and the subsequent competition taking place for the first time ever in Italy.

In addition to the draw, the competition logo was also introduced to the world, courtesy of Susanna Compagnoni, owner of SC Graphics, who designed it. The logo was born from the union of three fundamental characteristics which represent the sporting event: sitting volleyball, the athletes and the hear that symbolises the love for the sport.
